Good Morning, Consumerist Readers
Consumerist linked to Punt, Apple, Punt!
(And the comments on it seem to be evenly split between (really angry) people deciding I'm an idiot for not knowing a computer component name and people who understand exactly why I posted the log.)
Anyway, a bunch of people (well for my blog, anyway) are clicking over to the Wax On, Wax Off home page.
I thought I would give you a somewhat random list of the posts that other people who read this blog seemed to enjoy, based on email and comments. If they aren't your cuppa tea, thanks for clicking. If they are, stick around....
- On Design, Assumptions, and Really Big Jesii
- Pizza Hut.com, To Borrow from Vincent Flanders, Sucks
- This Boggles My Mind: Don't Link to Sheboygan, Whatever You Do
- I Canna Do Eet
- Are You Designing for These Users?
- The Great Pumpkin Massacre 2007
- Design 201
- There's No T-E-A-M In "Google"
- Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
- On Telecommuting
And lastly, the way 90% of my other traffic gets here:
Edit:
I spent part of my lunch hour reading all the comments on Consumerist, and they don't do threading (much like Blogger), so I'm not replying. I'm getting comments (moderated: delete) about how I'm a horrible person for not spending hours with Google, and why I'm a jerk for not wanting to sit on hold at my local apple store. I had forgotten what happens when you grab peoples' attention on Teh Innerweb; namely that many people don't read anything completely (hey, I'm a usability professional, I know we all skim) and immediately hate you for what they do read.
So, I'm hitting delete a lot, and comments that I will probably post are stuck in the sludge. I hope that dealing with this results in one thing: one or two people who say, "Yes! She's right!" and start a conversation with me, or come around next week or next month to see what I have to say then about whatever else catches my attention.

I admit I found you b/c of the 80s quiz...but I stayed for the other stuff :) The "wax on/wax off" is GENIUS and deserves to be recognized.
