Confusing....

When trying to delete files off my laptop so it can actually defrag (damn you, world of warcraft! 25% of the HD!), I found this image from a vacation in 2005.

It's not enough that the exit signs point in opposite direction, but why does one side have a footnote in Japanese? I think we hit this and decided to go to the left... mostly because it was downhill and we had come from the castle uphill...
