It's Been a Long, Long Time Since I Diagrammed Sentences

But, um...

Dear CNN,

Re: Ex-Liberian president's son convicted of torture (http://www.cnn.com/2008/CRIME/10/30/taylor.torture.verdict/index.html)

I think that should be "Liberian ex-president's son..."

B/c it took me three reads to realize you weren't saying that the son in question was no longer Liberian. I'm pretty sure the presidential status is ex, but that he's still Liberian.

Or maybe you should just grant your audience a quarter of an ounce of sense and realize that if people care about this story they probably know who Charles Taylor IS and go with, "Charles Taylor's son..."

Thanks,
Me

Does this post mean I have to put my hair in a bun and get glasses with pointy corners?!?!
