Re: "Porn Mode"

I'm really, really tired of seeing the phrase "Porn Mode" to describe the new IE 8 privacy features.

I know the people who named it that were (probably) thinking of "websites most likely to stick a bunch of malware on your computer" and immediately thought "porn!"

But the general press has gotten hold of this phrase and is using it to sound like, "you can surf porn at work! no one will know!"

I got news for you. IT will know. They filter and monitor your bandwidth, and they will know.

"Warez mode" would have been more accurate...
