A Note on Form Design
I'm reading Wroblewski's Web Form Design today.
The following note made me laugh.
"If you show something that looks like an error message in order to market something to the customer, you are a bad person." (from Perspective: James Reffell)
Two pages later the same guy, talking about the Twitter LOL-Cat error message, "But if you're building a crazy Web 2.0 application that's used mostly by geeks in the Bay Area to tell their friends what kind of sandwich they had for lunch and is having scaling problems, you might just do this instead."
Sounds like James and I would get along.
Just lay it all out there!
