Superman Three Comes To My Bank....

From: **me**

The online THE_BANK Bill Pay site says our minimum on our THE_BANK MasterCard is $8.00. The paper bill I just got in the mail says $7.82.

Now, I'm pretty sure that the eighteen cent difference is because your site is rounding up online.

However, as anyone who has seen Superman Three or Office Space knows, the banks doesn't get to round up.

One of these is wrong, and it's deeply troubling to be told different things for the same bill.

Please fix this.

Dear **me**:

Thank you for your e-mail regarding your credit card billing statement. We apologize for any confusion you have encountered. You may choose to pay the minimum payment of $7.82 by selecting the "Other" option when paying your bills via THE_BANK.com. For convenience, the THE_BANK Billpay system does round the payment amount to reflect an even number.

We appreciate the opportunity to be of assistance.

If you need further assistance, please contact us by e-mail using the 'Contact Us' feature at THE_BANK.com.

Sincerely,

**BANK LADY**THE_BANK E-Correspondence

Convenient? It's convenient to have the wrong number? To whom, exactly, is that convenient? Not to me, that's for sure. Not to the bank, that has to field calls and emails about it. I don't think it's convenient for any developers b/c it means someone redid the math of the bills....
