I ran windows update on it two days ago

There was a screen length full of windows security updates not applied. As well as a "critical" upgrade to one of the software that came on the computer.

Um... shouldn't Dell be updating thier ghost copy more often than that? Seriously-- it was months of updates.

In one of the stupidest moves ever the version of Office that she PAID for that comes preinstalled is going to shut itself off in less than 90 days if she doesn't call microsoft to verify it. Go, Microsoft. Punish the home user. Everyone knows they are the big industrial
software pirates.
